This privacy policy explains what information Motion Mobile Detailing ("we," "us") collects when you use motionmobiledetailing.com, request a quote, or text, call, or email us, and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Your name and phone number
- Your vehicle's year, make, and model
- Where the car will be (your town and, when you book, the service address)
- The services you're interested in, photos of your car, and any notes you send
- Anything you share with us by text, phone, email, or Google Business Profile messages
Information collected automatically
- Google Analytics uses cookies to tell us how people find and use the site, such as pages visited and the type of device.
- Google Ads measurement tells us when a visit came from one of our ads and whether someone tapped to call, text, or sent a quote request.
- Our site saves a small note in your browser for up to 90 days about how you first found us (for example, Google search or an ad) and which page you landed on. It's sent with your quote request so we know which marketing works.
How We Use Your Information
- To give you a quote and schedule your detail
- To text or call you about your quote, appointment, and arrival time
- To send before and after photos and follow up after the job, including asking for a review
- To improve our website, services, and advertising
- To keep records of work we've done
Text Messages
When you send a quote request with your phone number, or text us first, you agree that we can text you about your quote and appointment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it when we need to in order to do the job or run the business:
- Our detailers. The detailer doing your job gets your name, phone number, service address, vehicle, and the services you booked.
- Service providers that run parts of our business, such as Netlify (website hosting and quote forms) and Google (Analytics, Ads, and Business Profile messages). They handle information under their own privacy policies.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
Photos of Your Car
We may take before and after photos of your vehicle and use them on our website, Google Business Profile, and social media. We don't post license plates or personal details on purpose. If you'd rather we not use photos of your car, just tell us.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep quote and job information as long as we need it to serve you, keep business records, and meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).
Your Choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts.
- Contact us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you.
- You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or messaging service is completely secure.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
