Our Paint Protection Film Installation Process
Most of the work is prep. The film is only as good as the paint under it.
Wash
Wheels, tires, and fender wells first, then a foam hand wash that gets into emblems, vents, and the grille.
Decontaminate
Iron remover and a clay bar pull out the bonded grime that washing leaves behind, then the car is dried with microfiber and air.
Correct and Prep
The paint gets polished to remove swirls and scratches, then wiped down so nothing sits between the paint and the film.
Fit the Film
Film is cut to fit your car's panels, with extra left to wrap around edges wherever the panel allows for a cleaner look.
Install
Each panel is laid with a slip solution, positioned, and squeegeed down to push out water and air.
Inspect
Every edge and wrap is checked before you get the keys back, along with aftercare tips for the first week.

When do you start offering PPF?
January 2027. We're not installing paint protection film yet, but you can send us your car details now and we'll reach out with a quote when we start booking.
What is paint protection film?
A clear, flexible urethane film applied over your paint. It takes the hits from rocks, sand, bugs, and light scrapes so the paint underneath stays untouched. You'll also hear it called clear bra.
Can you see the film once it's on?
Not from normal viewing distance. A good install is nearly invisible. Up close you may spot an edge line on some panels, which is why we wrap edges wherever the panel allows.
Does PPF really heal itself?
Most modern films have a self-healing top coat. Light swirls and fine scratches fade away with heat from the sun or warm water. Deep gouges and rock strikes that cut through the film won't heal.
Will PPF turn yellow?
Older films could yellow over time. Today's quality urethane films are made to stay clear, especially when they're washed regularly and not left caked in grime.
Do I need paint correction before PPF?
Usually, yes. Film locks in whatever is under it, so swirls and scratches stay visible through it. We polish the paint first so it looks its best before it's covered. Learn more about paint correction.
How long does a PPF install take?
A partial front can be done in about a day. Full front takes longer, and full-vehicle coverage can take several days, depending on the car and how much prep the paint needs.
When can I wash my car after PPF?
Give it about a week before the first wash so the film can fully settle. After that, hand wash it and keep a pressure washer away from the film edges.
Can PPF be removed later?
Yes. Film comes off with heat and a slow, careful peel. On healthy factory paint it comes off clean. Paint that's already chipped or repainted has a higher chance of lifting, so we check it first.
Can I put a ceramic coating over PPF?
Yes, and a lot of people do. The coating adds gloss and makes the film easier to keep clean. Most people pair PPF on the front with a ceramic coating on the rest of the car.
Is PPF better than a ceramic coating?
They do different jobs. PPF stops rock chips and scratches. A ceramic coating adds gloss and makes washing easier but won't stop a rock. See the comparison above.
