Reviews From Our Charlotte Detailing Customers
★★★★★65+ five-star reviews on GoogleTilden worked his magic, both interior and exterior, on my husband's Homda Passport - which hasn't seen a car wash or vacuum in a LONG time. When Tilden was done, the car looked as if it had been driven to our home directly from the showroom floor. We are definitely repeat customers, and I highly recommend Tilden and the outstanding service he provides. He'll take care of your vehicle (car, boat, whatever) as if it's his own. A+++++
If you want prompt, courteous and phenomenal service this is the business to use. Tilden detailed my car inside and out and it looked as good if not better than the day I drove it off the lot. We were so impressed we had him wash and wax our camper. I can not say enough good things about his work as well as work ethic. You will not be disappointed!!!!! I plan on having Tilden detail my car again in the spring!
I recently returned from the beach with our 14 year old SUV… Quickly received a phone call to validate services and schedule for next day… Reggie was the detailer assigned and could not have been more professional… And boy does it look amazing. I didn’t realize how dulled the paint was and now it shines beautifully.
Got my all white BMW dirty after a showing and felt like going here for the cleaning. They did a good job my BMW has never shined this bright before besides when I first bought her. Very happy with the work they did.
Mobile Boat Detailing at Your Dock, Lift, or Driveway
A season on Lake Norman or Lake Wylie leaves its mark. The sun chalks out the gelcoat, a brown scum line builds up at the waterline, and the vinyl seats pick up mildew from sitting covered between lake days.
We come to you with our own water and power, so there's no trailering to a shop. We can work in your driveway, at a storage lot, or at your dock or lift where your marina allows it.
Pontoons, tritoons, bowriders, wake boats, center consoles, and fishing boats all get the same careful hand work we put into every car we detail.
Getting it cleaned before winter storage keeps grime and mildew from setting in for months, and a detail before spring launch has it lake-ready on day one. Own a camper too? See our mobile RV detailing.

What's Included in Mobile Boat Detailing
Every boat detail starts with a full wash and a clean interior. Here's what that covers.
- Hand wash of the hull, deck, and topsides
- Waterline scum line removed
- Vinyl seats cleaned and conditioned, mildew spots treated
- Floors, carpet, or mats cleaned
- Stainless, chrome, and rails cleaned
- Windshield and glass cleaned
- Wax or ceramic sealant on the gelcoat
- Add-ons: oxidation removal, ceramic coating, and pontoon log cleaning

Our Mobile Boat Detailing Process
Top to bottom and inside to out, so nothing gets missed.
Walk-Around First
We look over the gelcoat, vinyl, and hardware, and point out anything already damaged before we start.
Wash Top to Bottom
The deck, topsides, and hull get a hand wash with soap that's safe for gelcoat and the lake.
Waterline and Hull
The scum line comes off and the hull is cleaned as far as we can reach on the trailer, lift, or dock.
Vinyl and Interior
Seats are cleaned and conditioned, mildew spots treated, and floors, glass, and hardware cleaned.
Restore and Protect
If you added oxidation removal, the gelcoat is compounded and polished. Then a wax or ceramic sealant goes on.
Final Check
We go over the whole boat one last time and do a walk-around with you before we leave.
Mobile Boat Detailing Before Storage and Before Launch
Late fall is a smart time to get the boat cleaned. Lake scum, bird droppings, and damp vinyl left under a cover all winter only get harder to clean by spring, and mildew loves a closed-up boat.
Then in late winter and early spring, the schedule fills up fast with everyone getting ready for the lake. Booking your spring detail early means it's clean, shiny, and protected before the first warm weekend.
Mobile Boat Wash and Wax vs. Oxidation Removal and Ceramic
Both leave the boat clean and protected. The difference is how faded the gelcoat is and how long you want the protection to last.
Boat Wash and Wax
- Full wash and interior clean
- Wax or ceramic sealant for a season of protection
- Best for boats with gelcoat that still shines
- A good fit before storage and before launch
Oxidation Removal and Ceramic Coating
- For chalky, faded gelcoat
- Machine compound and polish to bring the gloss back
- Ceramic coating for long-term protection
- Best for boats kept on a lift or in the water

Boat Detailing FAQs
Can you detail my boat at the marina?
Often, yes. Many marinas allow outside detailers, but some don't, so check with yours first. If the marina says no, we can do it in your driveway or wherever the boat is stored on its trailer.
Does the boat need to be out of the water?
No. We can work at your dock or on a lift. Hull work like full oxidation removal is easiest with the boat on a trailer or lift, so we'll tell you what makes sense for your boat.
Should I detail my boat before winter storage?
It's a good idea. Cleaning it before it gets covered keeps dirt, lake scum, and mildew from sitting on it all winter, and a wax or ceramic sealant protects the gelcoat while it's stored.
Can you remove oxidation from gelcoat?
Usually, yes. Chalky, faded gelcoat gets machine compounded and polished to bring the shine back, then protected. Gelcoat that's extremely far gone may not come all the way back, and we'll tell you up front from the photos.
Do you ceramic coat boats?
Yes. A ceramic coating helps the hull shed lake scum and water spots, and it makes cleaning up after a lake day much easier. The gelcoat is cleaned and polished first.
Can you clean vinyl seats with mildew?
Yes. Vinyl gets cleaned and conditioned, and we treat mildew spots. Mildew that has stained deep into the vinyl may lighten a lot without disappearing completely.
Do you clean pontoons?
Yes. We wash pontoon decks, furniture, and rails, and clean the logs. Tell us how heavy the buildup is on the tubes and send a photo.
Do you need water or power?
No. We carry our own water and power, so we can work in a driveway or storage lot without a hose or outlet.
Do you come to me?
Yes. We come to homes, docks, and storage lots around Lake Norman, Lake Wylie, and Mountain Island Lake, including Cornelius, Huntersville, Mooresville, Tega Cay, Fort Mill, and the rest of the Charlotte area.
Can I get my truck or car detailed the same day?
Yes, and bundling saves you money. Plenty of people have the tow vehicle detailed while we're there. Book two or more services together and we'll take some off the total.
Still have a question? Text us and we'll get right back to you.
